Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and the Danish Demining Group (DDG) have now a joint strategy, named “Stabilization through community-driven safety and socio-economic recovery in Somalia".
The strategy operationalizes the principles of the Geneva Declaration on Armed Violence and Development in the context of Somalia.
The strategy integrates the Community-Driven Recovery and Development (CDRD) project, which focuses on service delivery enhancement and bottom-up governance, with DRC’s livelihoods and protection activities, and DDG’s Community Safety (CS) project, which aims at reducing threats to human security through comprehensive community-driven programming.
