SomCDRD is the Community-Driven Recovery and Development Project for Somalis. SomCDRD works in selected communities in Somaliland, Puntland, Galgaduud and Hiraan.

This survey tool is utilized at the end of the implementation of a subproject or at the end of a project cycle. The CDC organizes a community wide meeting including members from all social levels and age groups for a self-evaluation of the activities that led to the completion of the subproject, and lessons learnt. This provides an opportunity for the community to take the lead in the CDRD project evaluation.

The Somali versions of all these PIM tools are located in the CDRD episurveyor PIM database. Communities use the hard copies to collect the subproject-specific impact monitoring data and with the help of episurveyor-compatible phones, channel the data to the database for analysis and feedback by the QAU.
