Pada 17 Juni 2025, sebuah tragedi kemanusiaan terjadi di Khan Younis, Jalur Gaza selatan, ketika militer Israel menembaki kerumunan warga Palestina yang sedang mengantre bantuan makanan. Insiden ini mengakibatkan sedikitnya 59 orang tewas dan lebih dari 220 lainnya terluka, termasuk 20 dalam kondisi kritis. Korban dibawa ke rumah sakit menggunakan mobil warga, becak, hingga kereta keledai, mencerminkan keterbatasan infrastruktur medis di wilayah tersebut.
